Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević and Member of the City Council in charge for Health professor Zoltan Horvat MD, PhD visited today the Jovan Jovanović Dispensary of the Novi Sad Health Center, where a process of digitalization of X-ray appliances has been started. The City of Novi Sad has provided the Novi Sad Health Center with two universal digital radiography appliances, with digital image acquisition, flat panel, and motorized movement. The appliances are located at the Jovan Jovanović Dispensary and Novo Naselje Health Center.

The draft version of the 2015–2018 Local Action Plan for Youth Policies of the City of Novi Sad was presented today in the Novi Sad City Assembly. Members of the committee for creation of this document and a large number of representatives of youth organizations attended the central event within the public hearing. The attendees were addressed by Mr. Predrag Svilar, member of the City Council in charge of sports and youth, who expressed his satisfaction with the fact that young people have been actively involved in the development of the Local Action Plan.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević received today representatives of Novi Sad Police Administration and Gendarmery, awarding them prizes in accordance with the 2013 City Decision. The awards are given to members of the Police Administration for their outstanding achievements

On the occasion of the International Day of Social Justice Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević together with the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin visited the Company for professional rehabilitation, training and employment of disabled persons with impaired hearing "DES" LLC Novi Sad.

The Manager of the Local Economic Development Office prof. Marijana Dukić-Mijatović, PhD, and the Acting Rector of the University of Novi Sad prof. Radovan Pejanović, PhD, handed certificates to students who had successfully finished the 2014 professional training program in the City of Novi Sad, its administrative bodies and services, public and public-utility companies, institutions and organizations founded by the City.

In the Turkish City of Bursa the 3rd Balkan Economic Summit RUMELISIAD is taking place. This summit is a meeting place for businessmen and cities from Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia with the aim of strengthening economic ties between the countries of the Balkans.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević and his associates, accompanied by the representatives of Zrenjanin, Stara Pazova, Apatin and Irig, visited today the Serbian Orthodox Church Osječko Polje and Baranja Eparchy, in the Republic of Croatia.

During the visit, they met with His Grace Bishop Lukijan of Оsјеčkо Pоlje and Bаrаnja, as well as with representatives of various Serbian associations and the Serbian-community delegated MP.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević and Member of the City Council in charge for Sports and Youth Mr. Predrag Svilar received today at the Novi Sad City Hall the Vojvodina Volleyball Club players and its officials. Vojvodina Volleyball Club, having beaten Partisan last weekend, have won Serbian Cup Finals for the 14th time.   

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević received today at the City Hall the Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Serbia H. E. Mr. Michael D. Kirby.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević congratulated the players, as well as the whole team of the Vojvodina Volleyball Club, for winning today the Serbian Cup finals. The match took place in front of the home spectators, at the SPENS Hall.
