Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević and Member of the City Council in charge for Education Mr. Vladimir Jelić, MSc, attended the ceremony dedicated to the Day of the Jovan Dučić Primary School, in Petrovaradin. Headmaster Ružica Pavlović briefed the City officials about the recently completed adaptation and renovation of the school building in Preradovićeva Street, after which Mayor Vučević and Mr. Jelić followed a presentation given by the school students on their technical classroom “smart” blackboard.

Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović received today a delegation of the Nizhny Novgorod Education Administration, led by the   Head of the Education Administration Ms. Ekaterina Kutova, Headmaster of the No. 13 High School Natalija Anishchenko, as well as Assistant to the Headmaster Ms. Neli Fedulova. The delegation from our twin city visited Novi Sad as part of the cooperation between No. 13 High School from Nizhny Novgorod and Isidora Sekulić High School from Novi Sad.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević congratulated the Novi Sad Police Administration for the quick reaction and prompt apprehension of a suspect wanted for shooting at houses in the neighborhoods of Petrovaradin.

Members of the European Parliament's Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC), chaired by Eduard Kukan are in their two-day visit to Serbia and on the occasion of the Third Meeting of the European Union and the Republic of Serbia they visited Novi Sad, where they were joined by the members of the European Court of Auditors.

 
Assistant to the Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Bojan Torbica attended the program dedicated to the World Down Syndrome Day, held at the Novi Sad City Hall.

Member of the Novi Sad City Council in charge of economy Goran Sečujski MSc, Head of the Novi Sad Mayor’s Office Aleksandar Petrović and their colleagues met the representatives of the Belgrade City Administration, including the member of the Belgrade City Council in charge of economy Mr. Radenko Durković and secretary of the Secretariat for the Economy Mrs. Tijana Maljković.

Member of the City Council in charge of  Economy Goran Sečujski, MSc, received the representatives of  the “NETEX Consulting'' Company and the National Employment Service on the occasion of the presentation of the results of the program of free courses for work in a call center called ''The NETEX Academy''.

Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević visited the Rimski šančevi site, where a two-level multifunctional hall of over 5,000 m2 is being constructed on the basis of a project financed by the EU in the framework of the Hungary-Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Program.

Head of the Local Economic Development Office prof. Marijana Dukić Mijatović, PhD, together with the heads of the City administrations for Culture and Economy as well as representatives of public utility companies attended the meeting with the Dutch architect Gabriel Raúl Peña, an expert in the revitalization of brownfield sites, which was held in the City Hall. The meeting was also attended by NALED representatives.

Today’s allegations by Democratic Party that “Novi Sad awaits the World Water Day in absolute disregard for its water supply and the quality of water currently used by the citizens of Novi Sad”, are completely untrue and show that those who state these allegations are completely unaware of certain facts, which, therefore, entirely confutes the above mentioned statements.
