Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević and the manager of the Public Utility Company "City Parks" Aleksandar Bogdanović visited the site where greenery has been planted and landscape developed in the framework of the project "Rehabilitation and development of the Kisačka-Sentandrejski put line of trees, from Jaše Tomića Boulevard to Teodora Mandića Street in Novi Sad".

Member of the City Council in charge of Youth and Sports Predrag Svilar and Head of the Mayor of Novi Sad Office Aleksandar Petrović received in the City Hall the pioneers of the Athletic Club "Vojvodina", who on the occasion of the Sports Athletic Games held Dortmund won six gold, nine silver and 13 bronze medals, as well as the third place in the team competition.

The exhibition of paintings by Ranko Vukeljić called "The Inner Landscapes" was opened in the City Hall. In the framework of the official opening Mira Banjac and Milutin Popović Zahar spoke about the artist’s works, while the exhibition was opened by a member of the City Council in charge of culture Vanja Vučenović.

At the Novi Sad City Hall, Member of the City Council in charge of economy Goran Sečujski, MSc, welcomed the representatives of the Beekeepers Association "Jovan Živanović" Novi Sad, on the occasion of the acquisition of the status of authorized user of the Fruška Gora lime honey appellation of origin, for the period until 29th January 2018, awarded by the Institute for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Serbia.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević received today at the City Hall Banquet Room the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Serbia H. E. Mr. Mehmet Kemal Bozay.

Mayor Vučević wholeheartedly welcomed Ambassador Bozay and pointed out that this meeting is an excellent opportunity to inform the guests on the activities and cooperation the City has achieved with Turkey so far.

Member of the City Council in charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović handed the awards to the best reciters at the “Everyone Has Their Secret” Competition. The competition gathered primary school students, and was dedicated to the memory of the well-known poet Miroslav Antić. 

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the celebration of the Miroslav Antić Primary School’s 30th anniversary in Futog. The school was built from the local community’s own contribution funds, and it opened its doors on October 14th 1985. The school has a thousand pupils in all eight grades, divided into 37 classes and two daily shifts. The school has ten classrooms for general, and fourteen specialized classrooms for subject courses.

Member of the City Council in charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović, and representative of the Antić Days Board Ms. Sunčica Marković, laid their wreaths on the grave of Miroslav Antić and on the poet’s memorial bust in the Danube Park. Closing event of the Antić Days followed at the City Hall Banquet Room, where this year’s awardee officially received his Prize.

Member of the City Council in charge for Healthcare Mr. Professof Zoltan Horvat, MD, PhD, visited today the Novi Sad County Prison, where he, on behalf of the “Prohuman” Humanitarian Organization handed to the Warden Mr. Zoran Jovanović a stabile defibrillator and medical supplies donation.

Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević received today at the City Hall a Serbian National Team athlete Ms. Ivana Španović, who just won the European Long Jump Champion Title at the Prague Indoor Championship. Our best female athlete in long jump discipline Ivana Španović achieved this victory by setting the new national and personal record of 6.98 m, excelling thereby her previous personal best for 6 cm.  At the reception were also present Member of the City Council in charge for Youth and Sport Mr.
