"THE INNER LANDSCAPES" EXHIBITION OPENS

The exhibition of paintings by Ranko Vukeljić called "The Inner Landscapes" was opened in the City Hall. In the framework of the official opening Mira Banjac and Milutin Popović Zahar spoke about the artist’s works, while the exhibition was opened by a member of the City Council in charge of culture Vanja Vučenović.

- We are honored that we opened the Reception Hall of the City Hall for the art of this significant painter and artist who created successfully in previous years in Australia and who has been living and working in Novi Sad for the past few years. The doors of the City Hall will continue to be open to all artists who create and contribute to better and more meaningful cultural life of Novi Sad - Vanja Vučenović said.

Within the exhibition “The Inner Landscapes” 18 paintings were showcased, which were created in oil on canvas technique. The works were created in the period from 2006 to 2012. According to the author’s words the paintings use the language of symbols and they represent the essence of the tradition of our nation and its cultural specificity.  The exhibition will be open until 19th  March 2015.
