BEST RECITERS AT THE “EVERYONE HAS THEIR SECRET” COMPETIOTION RECEIVE AWARDS

Member of the City Council in charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović handed the awards to the best reciters at the “Everyone Has Their Secret” Competition. The competition gathered primary school students, and was dedicated to the memory of the well-known poet Miroslav Antić. 

- Cherishing the memory and opus of Miroslav Antić through various and diverse programs for all ages, year after year, we shed different light from rather different angles at our well-known poet’s work, his marvelous poetry, his rich painting and filming achievements. Novi Sad pupils are thus enabled to creatively express themselves through various programs prepared by the Cultural Center of Novi Sad this year as well. – said Mr. Vučenović and added that with these activities Novi Sad attempted to show its reverence and gratitude to this great artist who left a permanent and indelible mark upon the culture of our city. 

This year’s manifestation, eighth in a row, takes place from March 11th to 14th and is specially dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the A Blonde Lock of Hair‘s first publication in 1965.
