Member of the City Council in charge for Healthcare Professor Zoltan Horvat MD, PhD officially opened the World Autism Awareness Days manifestation in Novi Sad attending the street performance “Umbrella for All”, dedicated to World Autism Awareness Day – April 2nd. The event is organized by the Association for Support to People with Autism and Milan Petrović Primary and Secondary Education School.

City Commission for Holidays, Awards and International City Cooperation gave its recommendation that, starting from this year, first week of April marks Youth Safety Week in Novi Sad, as well as to organize a range of activities in order to promote its significance. The recommendation has been adopted by the City Assembly. Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević, together with the Member of the City Council in charge for Education Mr. Vladimir Jelić, MSc, and the Member of the City Council in charge for Youth and Sports Mr.

Manager of the Local Economic Development Office and coordinator of the creation of the Novi Sad Sustainable Development Strategy prof. Marijana Dukić Mijatović, PhD, held the first meeting of the Coordination Team working on the design of that document.

On the third anniversary of the “Contrast” Discotheque fire, in which Маrina Аničić, Zоrаn Ignjаtоvić, Маrko Pаvlоvić, Rеnаto Vukоvić, Мilеna Dаlmаciјa and Таmаra Мilаdinоvić lost their lives, Member of the City Council in Charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović, Member of the City Council in Charge for Sports and Youth Mr. Predrag Svilar, Assistant to the Mayor Mr. Bojan Torbica, and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović attended the commemoration organized by the families of the victims.

On the occasion of the greatest Christian holiday, Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević congratulated Easter to all citizens who observe the Gregorian calendar, wishing them the forthcoming celebrations be filled with love, peace and happiness.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the City Library Children’s Department in Novi Sad, the cultural institution organized an art exhibition featuring the works of participants in the contest "A Library Full of Books, Letters and Imagination". The exhibition was opened by the member of the City Council in charge of culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović.

In the presence of media representatives and organizers of cultural events at the Cultural Center of Novi Sad, the conference was held to present the web-portal "KultTura". This project represents a register of cultural events in Novi Sad, implemented within the City of Novi Sad candidacy for the European Capital of Culture in 2021. The conference was attended by a member of the City Council in charge of Culture Vanja Vučenović, who pointed out that this project will show that the culture of Novi Sad is diverse, but also unique at the same time.

Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević received in the City Hall the police inspector of Novi Sad’s Criminal Police Narcotics Suppression Department Slobodan Drmanac, who arrested the robber carrying a knife and robbing the store shortly before, on Sunday 29th  March, although he was not on duty. The reception was also attended by the Head of Novi Sad Police Administration Siniša Radaković and the Head of Criminal Police Department Saša Barjaktarović.

Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević received in the City Hall  “The Regional Youth Leadership Forum“ conference participants, which takes place from 25th  to 28th  March in Novi Sad, organized by the European Movement in Serbia - Local Council in Novi Sad. The aim of the Forum is to contribute to the regional cooperation in the Western Balkans as well as to the future cooperation between young people from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Serbia.

Manager of the Local Economic Development Office of the City of Novi Sad prof. Marijana Dukić-Mijatović, PhD, participated in the 2nd Business Conference "Transport & Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region – TIL 2015" which was held in the Sava Center in Belgrade, under the auspices of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia.
