Member of the City Council in charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović attended the official opening of the 17th Novi Sad Jazz Festival, organized by the Novi Sad Culture Center and with support from the City Administration for Culture.

Today in the City Hall, in attendance of the public notary, the Contract on Land Transfer from the ownership of the Republic of Serbia to that of the City of Novi Sad has been certified, based on the Conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

City of Novi Sad, together with the PUC “Informatika” and DunavNet Company, within a 11-member consortium consisting of stakeholders from five European countries, is implementing the CLIPS Project, whose aim is to create pilot innovative public services by using cloud-computing. The testing phase in isolated conditions is finalized, and now we appeal to citizens to join the testing phase in realistic conditions.

Member of the City Council in charge for Youth and Sports Mr. Prеdrаg Svilаr and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Аlеksаndаr Pеtrоvić received today at the City Hall young handball players from Dortmund, who visited Novi Sad within the two twin-cities sports cooperation and exchange program. The young athletes are guests of the ‘Јugоvić’ Handball Club.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Мilоš Vučеvić and the Head of the South Bаčka Administrative County Mr. Zоrаn Мilоšеvić received today at the Novi Sad City Hall the Scottish delegation who organized collection and transport of humanitarian aid from Glasgow – Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow Cathcart Mr. James Dornan and Director for International Development of the ‘Glasgow the Caring City’ Organization Mr. Ross Galbraith.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Мilоš Vučеvić and Member of the City Council in charge for Healthcare Professor Zоltаn Hоrvаt, MD, PhD, visited the Army Medical Center Novi Sad, which since February 2013 has been functioning as a general hospital of the secondary healthcare protection level.

The Novi Sad Basketball Youth League, organized for the third time by the Novi Sad District Basketball Association, under the patronage of the City of Novi Sad, started today at the Great Hall of the SBC ‘Vojvodina’. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Mayor Mr. Borkо Ilić, Member of the Novi Sad City Council in charge for Sports and Youth Mr. Prеdrаg Svilаr, as well as by the representatives of the Serbia Basketball Association, Vojvodina Basketball Association, District Basketball Association, and the SBC ‘Vojvodina’.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sa Mr. Мilоš Vučеvić welcomed the decision of the Novi Sad District Heating Company to commence heating of the Novi Sad apartments, in order to provide warm homes and adaptation for the upcoming season – with least possible discomfort and consequences for our citizens’ health and wellbeing.

Member of the City Council in charge for Traffic and Roads Mr. Nеmаnjа Vukčеvić attended the public class on traffic safety ‘Safe Road from Home to School’, held within the ‘Children’s Week’ Manifestation.
