Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the signing ceremony of the Gender-Sensitive Budgeting Declaration. The Declaration was signed by the NALED Executive Director Ms. Violeta Jovanović, as well as by the representatives of 22 municipalities in Serbia which accepted the gender-responsible budgeting. The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Construction, Traffic, Infrastructure Ms. Zorana Mihajlović, who also presides over the Gender Equality Coordinating Body.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Economy Mr. Goran Sečujski attended the opening of the International Expert Conference on Sandbox Programming, held between November 22nd and 29th in Novi Sad, organized by the EESTEC Student Association, as well as by the Execom IT Company, which is also hosting the event.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Social Care and Family and Children Protection Professor Nikola Ćirović and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović participated in the “A Tree of Life – A Symbol of New Life” event, whereby they planted a tree near the Serbian National Theater, expressing their gratitude to all the donor families.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Sports and Youth Mr. Predrag Svilar attended ceremony dedicated to awarding the annual recognitions to school with best results accomplished at sports competitions, from municipal to state level in the academic 2014-2015.

Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović received today a delegation from the “Selnice On Drava” Primary School from Slovenia. The delegation was headed by the Mayor of Selnice Mr. Jurij Lep, and the School Principal Ms. Jožica Ozmec, who returned the visit to the “Dositej Obradović” Primary School from Novi Sad.

Deputy Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Borko Ilić and Member of the City Council in charge for Youth and Sports Mr. Predrag Svilar visited the sixth and eighth grade pupils of the “Jovan Dučić” Primary School in Petrovaradin. For the occasion, they provided a donation of over twenty professional basket- and volleyballs for the school, which are to be used for the physical education classes.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Social Care and Family and Children Protection Professor Nikola Ćirović, PhD, and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović handed over the keys of Opel Vivaro vehicles to the Principal of the “Milan Petrović” Primary and Secondary School Mr. Slavica Marković.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Health Professor Zoltan Horvat, MD, PhD, attended the ceremony marking the jubilee of 20 years of addictive illnesses prevention in Novi Sad. On this occasion, current and former members of the Working Group and representatives of the City were awarded memorial plaques.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Youth and Sports Mr. Predrag Svilar attended today marking of the “Vojvodina” Water Polo Club great jubilee – the Club’s 80th anniversary. The Club Administration reminded the guess of the successes and results within the last eight decades.

Member of the City Council in charge for Social Welfare and Family and Children Affairs Professor Nikola Ćirović, PhD, attended the promotion of the project ‘Knowledge as Gift’, at the ‘Dušan Radović’ Primary School, realized through cooperation between the City of Novi Sad and ‘Life as Inspiration’ Association.
