Novi Sad Mayor Žarko Mićin attended the 106th session of the collegium of experts gathered around the multi-year challenging project of the restoration and reconstruction of the Almaški city district, which is organized every week at the City Hall. Along with representatives from the competent organizations, the meeting was attended by Maja Čeremidžić Šainović, a member of the City Council for Culture, and Dalibor Rožić, the director of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Novi Sad.

The Mayor of Novi Sad, Žarko Mićin, along with Tatjana Medved, a member of the City Council for Sports and Youth, held a meeting with Pedro Moura, the President of the European Table Tennis Union. He arrived at the City Hall accompanied by a delegation from the Table Tennis Federation of Serbia to discuss the upcoming European Veterans Championship, scheduled to take place from June 15 to June 22, 2025, at the Novi Sad Fair.

Žarko Mićin, the Mayor of Novi Sad, has expressed his best wishes to the women of Novi Sad on March 8, which marks International Women's Day.

Mayor of Novi Sad Žarko Mićin held a meeting with the management of the Public Utility Company "Waterworks and Sewerage" at which the possibility of urgently improving the water supply in Novi Sad was discussed. The meeting was attended by engineers responsible for improving the operation of existing wells, managers of the water plant and other departments of "Waterworks and Sewerage".

At the inaugural meeting of the newly elected City Council and Mayor Žarko Mićin, the council members' mandates were reaffirmed, and the implementation of projects that are crucial to Novi Sad's development was discussed.

All councilors will work diligently on the implementation of current projects and the planning of new ones, according to Mayor Mićin, which will help to raise the standard of living for Novi Sad residents.

Every year, from September 16 to 22, Novi Sad hosts the European Mobility Week. This year, Milan Đurić, the Mayor of Novi Sad, was present at the event. The event slogan is "Let's Move Better," and an abundance of activities, including a course on "Traffic Rules for Cyclists," a First Aid Workshop, safe driving instruction, and a program called "Bicycle Safety Check," have been planned for guests on the plateau at the "Promenada" mall.

Gomel, the Twin City of Novi Sad, is celebrating City Day, and the official programs and ceremony on the occasion of the 882nd anniversary of the founding of this Belarusian City are attended by Deputy Mayor Đurađ Jakšić and Assistant Mayor Ivan Siler.

Held on Thursday, September 12, and Friday, September 13, the fourth edition of "ELECTRIC VEHICLE DAYS" was officially launched at the Novi Sad Fair. Leading businesses from the automotive sector, producers of parts, accessories, and software for electric cars, as well as pioneers in the infrastructure and charging of electric and hybrid cars, are all gathered together. Miloš Vučević, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, opened the event.

One of the three most influential credit risk assessment agencies on the world financial market, "Moody's Investors Service", decided to improve the issuer rating of the City of Novi Sad to Ba2 "positive outlook" compared to the issuer rating Ba2 "stable outlook", which was assigned to the City of Novi Sad on August 23, 2023.

Novi Sad hosted a delegation from the Slovak City of Košice, led by Igor Petrovčik, the Mayor of Košice's Old Town, who was welcomed by Milan Đurić, the Mayor. The noteworthy collaboration in the area of culture that has so far been achieved was the topic of discussion at the City Hall meeting, particularly in light of the fact that both cities held the title of the European Capitals of Culture.
