NEWLY ELECTED MAYOR MIĆIN ANNOUNCES DEDICATED WORK ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CURRENT AND NEW PROJECTS AT THE FIRST SESSION OF THE NEW CITY COUNCIL

At the inaugural meeting of the newly elected City Council and Mayor Žarko Mićin, the council members' mandates were reaffirmed, and the implementation of projects that are crucial to Novi Sad's development was discussed.
All councilors will work diligently on the implementation of current projects and the planning of new ones, according to Mayor Mićin, which will help to raise the standard of living for Novi Sad residents.
- We still have a lot of work to do. We cannot afford to wait! Complete participation is required in order to continue implementation of the projects that have already begun. And there's a lot going on. We are building a new heating plant. Four schools are being renovated and enlarged, and two new schools are being erected. In Sadovi and Veternik, a water supply network is being constructed. By rejuvenating 9 and digging a new well, the water supply will be improved. We must also continue with Almaški district development. In addition, it is crucial to keep enhancing green spaces by adding new trees and enhancing park and community green spaces. The care of children, families, youth, and the elderly must be continuously improved, as well. We must further develop sporting facilities and make the economic climate better. Novi Sad's future depends on us and our legacy! Every Novi Sad resident has seen the city's rise and will continue to do so in the years to come. Our target salary is to increase to 150,000 dinars in four years from the current average of 117,000 dinars. Novi Sad will keep getting better and stronger. Novi Sad is unstoppably headed toward prosperity in a powerful and developed Serbia – said Mićin.
