The first underground public garage in Novi Sad near Banovina building, in the City center, was opened to public today and was visited by Milan Đurić, the Mayor of Novi Sad. Drivers can utilize this state-of-the-art, fully automated garage with elevator in public use mode around the clock, even on weekends and holidays.

The Agreement on the Establishment of Cooperation between Novi Sad and Cleveland, which was signed at the City Hall of this American City, is the highest legal document governing Serbian cities' and municipalities' relationships with cities abroad. It was signed by Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb and Vladimir Marić, chargé d'affaires of the Serbian Embassy in Washington, on behalf of Novi Sad Mayor Milan Đurić.

H.E. Akira Imamura, the Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia and Milan Đurić, the Mayor of Novi Sad, met in the City Hall during the Ambassador's first official visit.

Igor Crnobarac, the Deputy Mayor of Novi Sad, attended the reception held to mark the inauguration of the Democratic Republic of the Congo's consulate in Novi Sad. H.E. Joseph Kalala Mulamba, the Ambassador of the DRC to the Republic of Serbia, hosted the event.

On this occasion, the Deputy Mayor addressed the audience, emphasizing that the bilateral relations between the two countries have been going on for over 60 years and that it can be concluded that they are extremely good, because they are based on mutual respect and appreciation.

Mayor Milan Đurić met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia, H.E. Bunpa Tan wishing him a warm welcome to Novi Sad.

It is the first courtesy visit of H.E. Bunpa Tan during which mutual interest in cooperation and fostering friendly relations were expressed. Mayor Đurić thanked the Kingdom of Cambodia for respecting the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.

The elements of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China, the implementation of which will begin on July 1, 2024, were presented in Novi Sad at the City Hall. On that occasion, the Mayor of Novi Sad Milan Đurić addressed the audience together with the Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović, the President of the Provincial Government Maja Gojković, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia Marko Čadež and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia H.E. Li Ming.

The Mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Đurić, together with the President of the Assembly of the City of Novi Sad, Jelena Marinković Radomirović, presented Vidovdan awards to students of Novi Sad primary and secondary schools who won national and international competitions during last school year. The students were awarded with the certificates of recognition, which are given out annually on St. Vitus Day and include a cash prize based on the winner's position.

After attending "3rd CISM World Military Basketball Championship 3x3" opening ceremony at SPENS, Novi Sad's Mayor, Milan Đurić, hosted delegates' heads and representatives from the International Council for Military Sports at the City Hall. Military members from 20 member states of the International Council for Military Sports (CISM) from four continents will compete in that competition, which will take place in Novi Sad from June 17 to June 21, 2024.

The "Banovina" garage, which is being built next to the AP Vojvodina Assembly building, was toured by the Mayor of Novi Sad Milan Đurić together with the president of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, and the President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.

Novi Sad Mayor Milan Đurić signed on behalf of the City of Novi Sad the Agreement on non-refundable allocation of funds within the LIID project (Project for the Development of Local Infrastructure and Institutional Development in the Republic of Serbia) with the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesić, in the presence of representatives of the Embassy of France and representatives project implementation units of the LIID project.
