Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević received today at the City Hall the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Serbia, H.E. Majid Fahim Pour.

In the presence of Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić , and the Mayor of Novi Sad, Mr. Miloš Vučević, the Subsidy Contract between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Company '' Delphi Packard '' Novi Sad was signed today in the City of Novi Sad. The Contract was signed by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Željko Sertić and CEO '' Delphi Packard Electric '' for Europe, Mr. Vincent Fagard.

Novi Sad Mayor, Mr.  Miloš Vučević together with the Director of PC "Roads of Serbia", Mr. Zoran Drobnjak and Director of PC "City Construction and Development Novi Sad" Mr. Dejan Mandić,  visited the Europe Boulevard, where the fourth phase of its construction was finished, from Rumenački road to Subotica-Belgrade Highway, in total length of about 3,000 meters, which is now passable for traffic.

Mayor of Novi Sad, Mr. Miloš Vučević together with the Neobus Company representative Mr. Petar Matijević attended the signing of a long-term lease of the production facility of about 18,000 m² in the industrial zone of the City of Novi Sad.

The Novi Sad tamburitza ensemble ‘Zorule’ was founded in 1995, with the goal of preserving the wealth of Vojvodina tamburitza tradition, as well as to gather musicians dedicated to this kind of art and the pleasure it brings. This year, the ensemble celebrates its 20th anniversary, and a press conference was held on that occasion at the Novi Sad City Hall to announce the program to celebrate this anniversary. The conference was also attended by the Member of City Council in Charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović.

On the occasion of November 25th, the Day of the Unification of Vojvodina with Serbia, Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević, together with the President of the City Assembly of Novi Sad Ms. Jelena Crnogorac, laid wreaths on the commemorative plaque dedicated to the participants of the Great National Assembly.

Following last week’s meeting with four associations of people with disabilities, Head of the Mayor Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović continued by visiting the remaining associations in order to learn in detail of their requirements, needs and suggestions to improve the level of protection already available to them.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the signing ceremony of the Gender-Sensitive Budgeting Declaration. The Declaration was signed by the NALED Executive Director Ms. Violeta Jovanović, as well as by the representatives of 22 municipalities in Serbia which accepted the gender-responsible budgeting. The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Construction, Traffic, Infrastructure Ms. Zorana Mihajlović, who also presides over the Gender Equality Coordinating Body.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Economy Mr. Goran Sečujski attended the opening of the International Expert Conference on Sandbox Programming, held between November 22nd and 29th in Novi Sad, organized by the EESTEC Student Association, as well as by the Execom IT Company, which is also hosting the event.

Member of the City Council in Charge for Social Care and Family and Children Protection Professor Nikola Ćirović and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović participated in the “A Tree of Life – A Symbol of New Life” event, whereby they planted a tree near the Serbian National Theater, expressing their gratitude to all the donor families.
