On the occasion of the City of Novi Sad Patron Saint Day – Đurđic – Banquet Room of the Novi Sad City Hall hosted the cutting of the Patron Saint Day cake. This festive occasion was also attended by the Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević. Prior to the City Hall celebration, the Mayor attended the Holy Archpriest Service held at the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the Solemn Academy held at the Serbian National Theater, on the occasion of ‘Kosovo and Metohija Days in Novi Sad’ manifestation, organized together by the City of Novi Sad and the Municipality of Gračanica. The Solemn Academy was also attended by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ms. Maja Gojković, Minister for Labour, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs Mr. Aleksandar Vulin, Vice Prime Minister of the Kosovo Government Mr.

Following the initiative of the Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević, adn with the support from the EXIT Foundation, tonight the City Hall and the Petrovaradin Fortress will be illuminated in the colors of the French flag, in solidarity with the people of France.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević and Manager of the PC Novi Sad City Construction and Development Mr. Dejan Mandić, visited today the housing block area between the Dušana Danilovića and Selјačkih Buna St, in Novo Naselјe, where development works have been completed. Since pedestrian lanes at this location were completely devastated, a necessity arose for their complete reconstruction, in total length of approximately 700 m.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević received today at the Novi Sad City Hall our celebrated kick boxer Nenad Pagonisa, who won the gold medal at the recently held World Championship in Belgrade. Other two kick boxers who accomplished outstanding results in Belgrade, Tamara Bašić and Aleksandra Krstić, were also present at the reception.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the ceremony held on the occasion of the 229th anniversary of the Novi Sad Army Medical Center, at the Army House. The Medical Center is the oldest military medical institution in Europe, and according to its Director Colonel Bratolјub Brklјača, MD, PhD, the hospital has never stopped functioning throughout its entire existence, not even during the most perilous war circumstances. 

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević received the organizers and participants of the 7th ‘Golden Ensembles of Vojvodina’, which will be held from November 12th to 13th in Studio M and the Youth Theater, on the occasion of Accession of Vojvodina to Serbia and the Liberation of Novi Sad by the Serbian Army in 1918.

Member of the City Council in charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović attended the official opening of the 17th Novi Sad Jazz Festival, organized by the Novi Sad Culture Center and with support from the City Administration for Culture.

Today in the City Hall, in attendance of the public notary, the Contract on Land Transfer from the ownership of the Republic of Serbia to that of the City of Novi Sad has been certified, based on the Conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

City of Novi Sad, together with the PUC “Informatika” and DunavNet Company, within a 11-member consortium consisting of stakeholders from five European countries, is implementing the CLIPS Project, whose aim is to create pilot innovative public services by using cloud-computing. The testing phase in isolated conditions is finalized, and now we appeal to citizens to join the testing phase in realistic conditions.
