CITY OF NOVI SAD SHORTLISTED FOR THE „EEPA“AWARD
The project “Lime Trees & Honey Bees for Sustainable Development of the Danube Microregion” has been shortlisted in the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) of the European Commission. The awards are given in five categories for outstanding examples of support and promotion of entrepreneurship in Europe and announcement of the winners for 2016 will be held on 24th November in Bratislava.
"Lime Trees & Honey Bees for Sustainable Development of the Danube Microregion " focuses on investments in entrepreneurial skills, development of individuals and institutions in the field of beekeeping as well as the market introduction of Fruška gora lime honey, local product of exceptional quality with geographical indication, and it will compete in the “Supporting the Development of Green Markets and Resource Efficiency” Category.
