Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević has met the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia Sam Fabrizi at City Hall.

On this occasion, they expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation  achieved so far on the projects implemented jointly with the European Union and it was estimated that engagement in this field will continue with the same intensity.

Sam Fabrizi was interested in the progress made regarding the preparation process of the City for 2021 when it will be the European Capital of Culture and the Mayor stressed that he is satisfied with the work done so far, adding that the latest report has been positively evaluated by the European Commission.

The Mayor said that the implementation of the project for the construction of a new judicial building, also supported by the EU, is well underway and it is estimated that upon completion of the investment, the conditions for work in this area will be improved.

Vučević and  Sam Fabrizi also made reference  on the work of the EU Info Corner in Novi Sad, aimed at all citizens who have questions about the European Union, its institutions and all the opportunities that the EU accession brings to Serbia, with the assessment that such activities, at the local level, are of great importance.
