At the final lecture about the 2013 Action Plan for Development of Organic and Controlled Agricultural Production on the Territory of the City of Novi Sad, city representatives, professors from the Faculty of

The City of Novi Sad in cooperation with the Russian Centre and the Russian Association of Businessmen organized the presentation of the economic and cultural potentials of Novi Sad for businessmen and representatives of the diplomatic corps in the Russian Centre in Belgrade. On this occasion, the president of the City Assembly of Novi Sad Prof. Dr. Siniša Sević and the Russian Centre director Mikhail Denisov Genadievich addressed the audience.

Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević and Manager of Local Economic Development Office Olivera Simović presented the results of applications for grants in the frameworks of the Hungary-Serbia and Croatia-Serbia IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programs, while detailed information about two projects, from the total of eight approved, were presented by managers of those projects, Mr. Djordje Pisarov and Mrs. Zorica Ninić Stupar.

After four months the works are continuing on the construction of the first part of the fourth section of the Boulevard of Europe, from Rumenački put to the future bridge over the canal. Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević was present when the elements of the overhead bridge were being laid on the section where the Boulevard of Europe meets the Privrednikova Street.

The first shopping mall of the Israeli company “Big CEE Serbia” in Novi Sad was officially opened. On that occasion, the first deputy prime minister and minister of defence of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, together with the Israeli ambassador in Serbia, H.E. Josef Levi, mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, and CEO of “Big CEE” Eitan Bar Zeev  addressed the audience.

The National Agency for Local Economic Development and the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-Government officially opened the third cycle of  the campaign to attract investments in Serbia.

Mayor of Novi Sad, Igor Pavličić, visited the site of the production, craft and storage facilities complex in the Rimski šančevi area, in particular, the first building of the complex, which is in the finishing phase. One hall has been constructed so far,  works on the sanitary facilities and office space are still in progress, while landscaping and works on connecting the building to the infrastructure are underway.

At the official ceremony in the House of the National Assembly, National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) and Ministry of Economics and Regional Development presented the City of Novi Sad with the Business-Friendly Environment certificate, which in a way guarantees investors that the municipality provides all the necessary conditions for successful establishment and development of business.

The Mayor of Novi Sad Mr Igor Pavličić led a great bicycle parade through the city. The parade was organized by the City of Novi Sad, City Administration for Youth and Sport and Novi Sad Bicycle Club. The event was held to mark the World Carfree Day.

Cantat Novi Sad organized press conference in the Park Hotel to announce the concert of French singer Zaz that will be held on Petrovaradin Fortress. On behalf of the city, mayor Igor Pavličić wished Zaz welcome and a good time to all the visitors.
