On their tour through the countries of the South Eastern Europe, members of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club from the French region of Alsace, visited Novi Sad and exhibited their classic cars and old timer Jaguars. Members of the club were received at the City Hall by the Deputy Mayor Mr. Borko Ilić, while the reception was also attended by the representatives of the Novi Sad Touristic Organization, as well as of the Novi Sad Branch of the French Institute.

Yesterday in the Novi Sad Free Zone, Italian company "Alkemica solutions" opened a plant for recycling of telephone and computer equipment, not including monitors and batteries. In the Novi Sad City Hall, Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević had a meeting with the representatives of this company, as well as with other entrepreneurs from Italy, discussing business activities in the Novi Sad Free Zone and the city’s investment potentials.

With its performance of traditional Russian songs and dances, the Kostrom Folklore Troupe “Wreath” held a concert at the Theater Hall of the Cultural-Informational Center “Mladost”. The concert “On the Roads of Good” was attended by the Member of the City Council in charge for Culture Mr. Vanja Vučenović, who wished the guests a warm welcome and expressed his pleasure for the opportunity to host them in Futog.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević visited construction works at the Begeč roundabout, located at the Culture Center, followed by a visit to one of the agricultural households in this suburban settlement. The construction works, taking place on the site of the currently existing conventional four-way intersection of Partizanksa and Kralja Petra I Streets, commenced in the middle of June, with the purpose to increase traffic safety.

In the presence of the Mayor of Italian city Sant’Elpidio a Mare, Mayor of Hungarian city Várpalota, representatives of the City of Novi Sad, the Novi Sad Free Zone and numerous Italian entrepreneurs, Manager of the Local Economic Development Office prof.

Novi Sad Mayor Mr. Miloš Vučević received in the City Hall the Ambassador of Mexico to Serbia, H.E.  Jose Evaristo Ramon Xilotl Ramirez.
The Mayor wished him a warm welcome to Novi Sad, and the Ambassador pointed out that this is his first official visit to the City, considered to be developing and progressing rapidly by His Excellency.

Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević received today at the City Hall the Belgrade City Delegation headed by the Mayor of the City of Belgrade Mr. Siniša Mali. After the reception and the meeting that followed, the host accompanied the visiting delegation to the Novi Sad Agricultural Fair.

Sports and Youth Minister Mr. Vanja Udovičić, Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević, and Novi Sad University Rector, a. i. Professor Radovan Pejanović, PhD, attended the scholarship awarding ceremony for best Novi Sad University students. The scholarships are awarded by the Republic of Serbia Young Talents’ Fund “Dositeja” for the academic year 2014/2015. The Fund has been established by the Government of Serbia, with the aim of supporting most successful students, who excelled in their academic achievements with hard work, effort and persistence.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević visited the Budisava settlement, following the completion of 6-kilometer construction works of sewage network. Last year, PE “City Construction and Development” built more than 7 kilometers of sewage network, and now the works have been completed in the North Eastern part of the settlement. The works were done by the Bulevar Company LLC, with the contracted value of 41.721.594 RSD.

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević, Head of the European Delegation to Serbia H. E. Ambassador Michael Davenport, and Provincial Government Prime Minister Mr. Bojan Pajtić, PhD, officially opened today the new premises of the EU Info Point, at 17, Mihajla Pupina Boulevard, in Novi Sad.

EU Info Point in Novi Sad has been founded by the EU Delegation to Serbia in August last year, with the purpose of informing our citizens regarding EU, its institutions, as well as on relations between EU and Serbia.
