MAYOR OF NOVI SAD CONGRATULATES IVANA ŠPANOVIĆ

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević congratulated Serbian athlete Ivana Španović, who won the third place in long-jump at the Beijing World Championship, thereby excelling the national record at this event.
- Novi Sad is exceptionally proud of Ivana, who won the bronze medal at the World Championship, and proved once more that she is our best female athlete. On behalf of the City of Novi Sad and in my own name I wish her a lot of success bot in professional and in personal life. She brought a lot of joy both to her city and to her country, and her achievements will certainly inspire numerous generations of athletes. – said Mayor Vučević.
