Brownfield for new business
The City of Novi Sad, through the USAID MEGA program, has received funding for the Brownfield for new business project, which includes the creation of a business incubator in the field of information technology in order to create new jobs, reduce the number of unsucessful SMEs and strengthen them, as well as to keep young people in local settings. The value of the project was EUR 200,000 and the project involved the reconstruction and adaptation of an office space of 418 m2, which was ceded to the newly established Business Incubator Novi Sad.
Novi Sad Business Incubator is a company that supports entrepreneurs in the field of information technology and creative industries. It was established on 13th April 2010 as a limited liability company. The founders of the Business Incubator Novi Sad are the Faculty of Technical Sciences Novi Sad, City of Novi Sad, Vojvodina Development Agency and PUC Informatika with the support and donations from the USAID and the Austrian Development Agency.
Novi Sad Business incubator today has over 800 square meters Incubator with over 20 offices, 100 square meters of coworking space, a conference room that can seat 25 people, 2 meeting rooms, a relaxation area and common rooms: 2 kitchens, a table for table football and similar.
