Reform Calvinist Church
20.09.2011.
First Reform-Calvinist families arrived to the city in the late 18th and in the 19th century. Shortly after having settled, they built a church, which suffered heavy bombardment during the Uprise of 1849. The temple was rebuilt only in 1864. The new Neo-Gothic church in Šafarik St, which stands even today, was built in 1865 by a famous architect from Novi Sad Georg Molnar. It was consecrated by the Bishop Pavle Terek. The Interior of the church is quite spacious and it sits 650 people. The choir and the organ are located in the eastern side of the nave.
