STUDENTS FROM MEXICO RECEIVED AT THE CITY HALL

Member of the City Council in charge for Economy Mr. Goran Sečujski and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović received today students of the Tecnológico de Monterrey University from Mexico, who came to Novi Sad to attend summer-school programs organized by the Business Academy University.

- It is due to excellent cooperation between the City of Novi Sad and one private university, but also due to cooperation our City boasts with all universities in general, that we have this outstanding opportunity to host students from the friendly country of Mexico. I am pleased that our city once more confirmed that it is the city of youth, and that it is an excellent host. During their stay in our city, the students have learned quite a lot about Novi Sad. I would like to take this opportunity to invite our guests to visit two significant events which will take place during their stay in Novi Sad, both of which we are extremely proud of – the EXIT Festival and the Fair of Youth Tourism. – said Mr. Sečujski.

Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović said that the reception of the students from Mexico is merely an introduction to a forthcoming festivity, and that is signing of the sister-city agreement between the City of Novi Sad and the City of Toluca.

– Traditionally fruitful cooperation and friendship the City of Novi Sad and the City of Toluca dates back to 1981. This mutually beneficial cooperation will be formalized by signing the agreement, covering the area of culture, sports, economy, as well as numerous other fields of endeavor. – said Mr. Petrović
