REPRESENTATIVES OF THE EXIT FESTIVAL AT THE RECEPTION IN THE NOVI SAD CITY HALL

In the Novi Sad City Hall, Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević welcomed the representatives of the Exit Festival, which received the 2014 Best European Festival Award in the category of up to 40,000 daily visitors. At this year’s ceremony, the 2014 seaside edition of the Exit Adventure, the Sea Dance in Budva, has been named the Best European Festival in the up to 40,000 daily visitors category, while in the main award contest in the over 40,000 daily visitors category, the 2013 winner Exit Festival found its place among European Top 3.

- We are proud that the Exit Festival in Novi Sad achieves great results and receives prestigious awards. Its organizers have a clear concept and determination to persevere in the organization and development of the festival to make it better each time around. The City of Novi Sad was the partner in involving the sister Municipality of Budva in the new festival concept, which has certainly contributed to the improvement in Budva’s tourist offer, as well as to the development of amicable relationships of two cities in two neighboring countries. The Exit Festival is the brand of Novi Sad and Serbia that positively affects our international reputation, as well as the income in our City budget – said Mr. Vučević, pointing out that the City will unquestionably continue to support this event.
Exit Festival’s CEO Dušan Kovačević thanked the Mayor on strong support and said that this award is above all else a recognition for the citizens of Novi Sad.

- The City of Novi Sad and its public services are the festival organizers and we would like to thank them all on this occasion. It is a great success that the Festival has won this important award for the second time, which as a result of work and enthusiasm shows that success is possible in Serbia and that we can compete shoulder to shoulder with big countries. Together with the City we will work on further improving the festival and this year we will be celebrating a landmark anniversary, 15 years of the Exit Festival – said. Mr. Kovačević, adding that the concept of the big Exit Adventure fulfilled the expectations, as it has been exceptionally well received by the worldwide audience.

This summer the Exit Adventure starts on July 9th at the Petrovaradin Fortress and it will last ten days, all the way to July 18th, at the Jaz beach in Budva.
