REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CITY OF NOVI SAD VISITS SLAVONIA EPARCHY

Deputy Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Borko Ilić and Member of the City Council in charge for Youth and Sports Mr. Predrag Svilar paid the official visit to the Slavonia Eparchy and His Grace Bishop Jovan.

Novi Sad delegation discussed with their hosts various forms of aid the City of Novi Sad to the Slavonia Eparchy, particularly bearing in mind that numerous people from this region found their home in our city following the Operations Bljesak and Oluja.

- Painful experience connecting our compatriots who survived the criminal operations Bljesak and Oluja, and the citizens of Novi Sad who remember the Razzia of 1942, oblige us to everlasting mutual solidarity – emphasized Deputy Mayor Ilić.
