Reconstruction and landscaping of Futoški Park

Futoški Park was established as a special-purpose park surrounding the Jodna Spa in the early 19th century. It is known for its lush vegetation, expansive green areas, and diverse plant species, making it a popular spot for walking, recreation, and relaxation among residents. In addition to its historical value, the park is also significant as a frequent venue for cultural and entertainment events, contributing to the social life of the City of Novi Sad.

On 27 May 2024, a grant agreement was signed between the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the City of Novi Sad for the project “Reconstruction and Landscaping of Futoški Park in Novi Sad”.

Preparation of the tender documentation is currently underway in order to launch the public procurement procedure, in line with LIID project requirements (regarding the structure of the draft contract, obligations of the future contractor, etc.).

The total project value is 448,065,487.79 dinars (excluding VAT). Funding in the amount of EUR 3,837,186 has been secured through the LIID project for the reconstruction and landscaping works.
