RECEPTION FOR NIZHNY NOVGOROD DELEGATION

Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović received today a delegation of the Nizhny Novgorod Education Administration, led by the   Head of the Education Administration Ms. Ekaterina Kutova, Headmaster of the No. 13 High School Natalija Anishchenko, as well as Assistant to the Headmaster Ms. Neli Fedulova. The delegation from our twin city visited Novi Sad as part of the cooperation between No. 13 High School from Nizhny Novgorod and Isidora Sekulić High School from Novi Sad.

- Cooperation between Novi Sad and cities from Russia has been intensified within the last two years, followed by a great interest for learning the Russian language and about Russian culture. Such cooperation can serve to our mutual benefit and satisfaction, it can improve the exchange of experience and knowledge at all levels. – said Mr. Petrović and added that in April our twin City of Nizhny Novgorod will host and organize Days of Serbia, a cultural event during which municipalities from Serbia will have the opportunity to exhibit their culture and potentials.

Headmaster of the No. 13 High School Natalija Anishchenko extended her gratitude to the City of Novi Sad and her hosts on behalf of the delegation from Russia, adding that the importance and improvement of cooperation between the two cities is also reflected by the fact that this year Serbian Culture Center opens its doors at the Nizhny Novgorod University, as well as that the Russian language camp for children from Serbia starts its activities.
