Promotion of the municipalities with favorable business environment at Belgrade Airport "Nikola Tesla"

The National Agency for Local Economic Development and the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-Government officially opened the third cycle of the campaign to attract investments in Serbia.
The campaign "Next Investment Destination: Serbia" promotes the investment potential of cities and municipalities that were certified in 2012, including the City of Novi Sad, in order to boost the economic growth.
The campaign sets the promotional banners of the City of Novi Sad and other six certified cities and municipalities (Užice, Paraćin, Zrenjanin, Vršac, Sombor and Kruševac) which will be erected in the most attractive places at Belgrade Airport "Nikola Tesla" throughout the year, since more than 3.5 million passengers, out of which a large number of business people, pass annually through the airport.
As the example of good investment practice, the campaign was supported by investors which operate in these cities and municipalities - "United Breweries of Serbia” (Heineken), for Novi Sad, "Holcim" for Paraćin, Copper Mill Sevojno (East Point), for Užice, "Henkel" for Kruševac, "Fresenius Medical Care" for Vršac, "Dijamant" for Zrenjanin, and "Somboled" (Lactalis) for Sombor.
The opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Čupić, Chairman of Steering Committee of NALED, Verica Kalanović, Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government, Branislav Bugarski, Provincial Secretary for the International Cooperation and Local Self-Government, Velimir Radosavljević, director of the airport Nikola Tesla, Olivera Simović, Head of the Local Economic Development Office of the City of Novi Sad, Biljana Bobić-Subin corporate relations manager for "United Breweries Serbia" (Heineken), as well as many other representatives of cities, municipalities and investors.
