- I am particularly honored to see that Novi Sad Lions Clubs have been supporting and encouraging young people’s creativity. Since these efforts coincide with the efforts by the City Administration for Culture, we will give our best to make cooperation between the City and Lions Clubs even more prosperous and fruitful, so that together we can discover new young talents of Novi Sad, and to give them the opportunity to present their work. – said Mr. Vučenović.

“Peace Poster” is the annual visual art competition for children, organized by the Lions Club International Humanitarian Association. More than five million children, from hundred countries, have participated in this competition, taking place for the last 27 years. The competition encourages young people to express their visions and ideas of peace and love. In Serbia, this competition has been organized since 2012 by Lions Club Neoplanta, Lions Club Mileva Marić Ajnštajn, and Leo Club from Novi Sad. Topic of this year’s competition was peace, love and understanding, and the participants were children of 11, 12, and 13 years of age. This year’s winner is Lea Kanjoh, and her work was sent to USA, where it will further compete at the international level.
