MISSION project is officially launched!

The Kick-off Meeting of the MISSION project took place on November 21, 2024, marking the official launch of this ambitious initiative aimed at revolutionizing urban mobility in the Adriatic-Ionian Region. The project focuses on integrating public transport services with shared vehicles, cycling and walking pathways, to make travel experiences seamless and more attractive.

A Smart-App designed to deliver “door-to-door” customized travel solutions and provide information on level of service and safety will be developed with the active involvement of citizens and transport operators. This participatory approach ensures the app addresses the real needs and preferences of its users, making it more effective and user-friendly. By leveraging transferable modeling techniques, the App will be tested in several cities of the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

Through the integration of various modes of transport into a unified platform, MISSION simplifies the travel experience, eliminating the hassle to juggling multiple apps or struggling with fragmented services. The result is a seamless, smarter, and more efficient journey that motivates individuals to embrace sustainable mobility options.
