MAYOR OF NOVI SAD ATTENDS THE “GULIVER” KINDERGARTEN’S PATRON SAINT

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the celebration held on the occasion of the “Guliver” kindergarten’s patron saint – Saint Sava, and extended his wishes for a successful and prosperous year ahead to the whole staff, and particularly to the children.

- I am delighted to be present at the January 27th celebration, the day honoring the protector and patron saint of schools and education – Saint Sava. Even more so, since this kindergarten is the largest preschool institution in Novi Sad. We are putting great effort in providing conditions as good as possible for our youngest ones and their development, since it is the beginning which determines the final result. Kindergarten is the place where children start interacting with a wider social community, and it is of the utmost importance that children acquire the necessary knowledge confidence and self-esteem, so they can realize their potentials during further higher education. – emphasized the Mayor.

Mayor Vučević was the godfather of the largest kindergarten in the Balkans, the kindergarten of some 4500 m2 total area, attended by 773 children.
