MAYOR OF NOVI SAD AT THE 4th FAIR OF CHINA AND CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE AND THE OPENING OF THE SERBIAN BUSINESS, TECHNOLOGY AND TOURISM HUB

The opening of the 4th China-Central and Eastern European (CEEC) Fair was attended by Novi Sad Mayor Žarko Mićin. In addition to nine nations, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, the fair is attended by fourteen Central and Eastern European nations. At the Expo, 8,000 distinct specialty items are being promoted. With items from the food and beverage, cosmetics, and veterinary categories, 48 exhibitors will represent Serbia. IT firms will also be there.

Mayor Žarko Mićin also attended the opening of the Serbian Business, Technology and Tourism Hub, which will enable Serbian companies to explore business opportunities in China, learn about local practices, develop innovative models and build strong ties with the Chinese economy and tourism sector.

- I am confident that the Expo and the Serbian Hub will significantly advance the economic development of our two friendly nations by fostering greater collaboration between Serbian and Chinese businesses. I am pleased that I was able to observe such significant events for the economies of our nation, and then for our city of Novi Sad, and to see here how much good Serbia has to offer on the global stage. This is a chance for Novi Sad to market its economic potential and initiatives to powerful partners in China and Europe - said the Mayor of Novi Sad Žarko Mićin.

The Serbian Hub was opened in the organization of the Serbian Development and Export Agency and the Winemakers Association "Bermet", and with the support of the Provincial Government of APV, the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci and the People's Government of the City of Ningbo.
