Maintenance of bridges in the City of Novi Sad based on inspection reports and condition assessments

Work is continuing on the maintenance of bridges across the City of Novi Sad, based on bridge inspection reports and condition assessments (2025: 56,000,000; 2026: 64,000,000 dinars).

On 5 August 2025, a contract was signed with the contractor in the amount of 120 million dinars (including VAT). The contractor has been mobilised, and works are progressing in line with contractual obligations. The works are being carried out on the Freedom Bridge and include anti-corrosion protection of the internal box structure of the bridge (completion of all works on the Novi Sad side and two spans on the Sremska Kamenica side), anti-corrosion treatment of the outer faces of the main span, as well as part of the repair works on the pedestrian walkways.
