Construction of traffic surfaces with accompanying infrastructure for the site southwest of the City Cemetery

The City of Novi Sad has allocated funding for the construction of roads and related infrastructure in the area southwest of the City Cemetery, under a design-and-build contract, with a total value of 407.8 million dinars. The project is planned to be financed over two years (2025: 50 million; 2026: 358 million).

The contract with the selected contractor was signed on 17 July 2025. The contractor has since been mobilised, and works are progressing in line with the planned schedule.

The total route length is 1,679 m. This includes the reconstruction of K. Petra Street in Veternik, 1,022 m long and 6 m wide, as well as the construction of a new peripheral road, 654 m long and 5.5 m wide. The stormwater drainage network will extend to 1,700 m, and 73 lighting columns will be installed.
