CONGRATULATIONS FOR “GOLDEN” IVANA ŠPANOVIĆ

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević congratulated Ivana Španović on the prestigious European long jump champion title, following her triumph at the European Athletics Indoor Championships Prague 2015.

- It is an exceptional honor to have an esteemed and renowned athlete of such caliber as Ivana. Strength, perseverance, dedication and success adorn this outstanding girl, who simply never stops to exhilarate us. Not only does she exhilarate us, she fills us with pride. Such representative – not only of our city, but of the whole county as well – is the best possible example for our young generations how to – provided they excel in dedication, love and hard work – accomplish notable and admirable achievements in European and world sport arenas. We have all cheered and supported her throughout all the stages of her career, fully knowing that she will only continue along her well-treaded path of success. – said Mayor Vučević and wished Ivana Španović all the best for her further athletic career.
