Deputy Mayor of the City of Novi Sad Mr. Borko Ilić received today at the City Hall Chargé d'affaires of the British Embassy Ms. Tracy Gallagher, as well as the Political Officer Ms. Zvezdana Crnogorac, who visited Novi Sad with the aim to extend their gratitude to the City Administration and the organizer of the festival for their hospitality shown towards the British tourists.
Having wished them welcome, Deputy Mayor pointed out that British tourists have been among the most numerous guests of the EXIT Festival for years, thereby immensely contributing to the importance in establishing connections among young people from the entire world.
Ms. Gallagher explained that within the delegation’s one-day visit to Novi Sad, they intend to tour the residents of camp located at the Štrand, as well as to attend the Festival programs in the Petrovaradin Fortress later on. She further added being very glad for visiting Novi Sad once again, the city where she spent four weeks in February this year learning Serbian, which is also the city she very much learned about and fell in love with.
Delegations discussed the current political and economic situation in Novi Sad, expressing their mutual satisfaction for traditionally good relations between the City of Novi Sad and Her Britannic Majesty’s Embassy in Belgrade.
